What do electrical installations include?
Electrical installations refer to all work related to installing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems in buildings and other structures. This can include, for example, installing lighting systems, sockets, switches, distribution boards and other electrical equipment.
How much does an electrician cost?
The price of an electrician depends on the work, the materials used and the time the job takes. Ask for a quote and we will give you an exact price for your property.
Do you charge mileage?
We do not charge mileage, but please note that travel to the site and any transfers also count as installation time, and we charge for this according to the actual time spent.
Can I do electrical work myself?
Fixed electrical installations and electrical work on repairing electrical equipment may only be carried out by electrical professionals who are authorised to do electrical work. An ordinary electricity user may only carry out minor work, provided they have sufficient skills and have familiarised themselves adequately with the instructions and safety guidelines. Such minor electrical work includes, for example, replacing a fuse in your home, connecting a light fitting to a terminal block, and removing and refitting the cover of a socket or light switch, for instance while wallpapering. How can I check whether the company I hired for electrical installations is authorised to do electrical work?

What should I do when the power goes out?
First, switch off any appliances that could cause a fire, such as the cooker and the iron. Then check whether your neighbours or the street lights have power. If the whole area is dark, wait for the power to return and follow the network company's updates. If only your own home is dark, check the fuses in the fuse box.
